About the Role
Join our Building Engineering team as a Mechanical Engineering Intern starting in November 2026. You’ll support planning, design, monitoring, and inspection of hydraulic and HVAC-related systems across a wide range of industries, including defense, data centers, space, commercial, healthcare, highways, rail/metro, and airports. This internship is a great opportunity to help ensure work meets industry and governmental standards while contributing to practical, innovative solutions.
Responsibilities
- Assist with assessing heating, cooling, and ventilation needs, including energy-efficient HVAC approaches that support sustainability and reduce energy consumption.
- Support evaluation and inspection activities for HVAC systems to help verify performance and adherence to applicable standards.
- Contribute to drafting proposals, progress updates, and technical findings for client and project stakeholders.
Requirements
- Currently enrolled in a Mechanical Engineering program (or closely related field).
- Basic understanding of HVAC concepts and building services engineering principles.
- Strong attention to detail and a willingness to learn about compliance and inspection processes.
- Good communication skills and comfort working with a collaborative project team.
