About the Role
Square/Afterpay is looking for a Mid-Market Sales Manager to lead sales efforts for merchants in the mid-market segment. You’ll help drive revenue growth by guiding a team, developing go-to-market strategies, and building strong relationships with sellers that need modern, integrated commerce tools.
Responsibilities
- Lead and coach a mid-market sales team to meet and exceed revenue goals
- Own sales execution across the full pipeline, from prospecting through close
- Develop territory and account plans aligned to customer needs and business priorities
- Collaborate with cross-functional partners to improve sales strategy and customer outcomes
- Represent Square/Afterpay value proposition for omnichannel commerce, payments, and financial services
Requirements
- Proven experience in B2B sales leadership, ideally within mid-market environments
- Strong understanding of sales pipeline management and performance metrics
- Ability to coach sales professionals and drive consistent execution
- Excellent communication and relationship-building skills
