About the Role
Join our team as a New Grad Registered Nurse (RN) in the PCU (Progressive Care Unit). In this role, you’ll provide compassionate, patient-centered nursing care while completing required competencies during your introductory period. This position may qualify for a sign-on bonus.
Responsibilities
- Assess patients’ responses and how they adapt to actual or potential health conditions, including support for patients’ families and/or significant others
- Follow approved medical protocols, develop an initial plan of care, and implement and continuously evaluate interventions
- Provide ongoing reassessments to ensure care remains aligned with changing patient needs
- Recognize changes in patient condition and escalate appropriately using unit resources and the chain of command
- Prioritize and act on information from multiple sources to deliver timely, patient-focused care
Requirements
- Active or pending RN licensure (new graduate)
- Willingness to complete unit-specific competencies within the designated training period
- Strong clinical judgment, communication, and ability to prioritize patient needs
