About the Role
As a Nurse Manager, you’ll partner with the Clinical Director and cross-functional teams to lead clinical, operational, and financial performance for private care services. This role focuses on ensuring patients receive timely access to care while driving strong operational efficiency, department productivity, regulatory compliance, and patient satisfaction.
Responsibilities
- Oversee coordination and delivery of high-quality patient care across daily operations, supporting effective coverage and patient flow.
- Lead patient flow processes including admissions, transfers, and discharges to ensure seamless transitions and optimal resource use.
- Facilitate team meetings to strengthen engagement, reinforce safety standards, and improve the patient and family experience.
- Manage day-to-day operational efficiency and effectiveness to support departmental goals.
- Support human resources activities, including staffing and team development needs.
- Ensure fiscal integrity through responsible operational practices and alignment with financial expectations.
- Maintain regulatory compliance and support required documentation and workflows.
- Oversee payroll processes in accordance with internal procedures.
Requirements
- Registered Nurse (RN) licensure in New Jersey.
- Leadership experience in a clinical or care delivery environment, with demonstrated operational management skills.
- Strong knowledge of patient flow, admissions/discharge processes, and care coordination.
- Proven ability to collaborate with physicians, nursing teams, and other stakeholders.
- Commitment to patient safety, service excellence, and regulatory compliance.
- Strong organizational skills and ability to manage day-to-day operational priorities.
