About the Role
Scout Motors is hiring a Senior Specialist to support OBD (On-Board Diagnostics) requirements testing. In this role, you’ll help ensure diagnostic features meet performance and compliance expectations across powertrain variants, while contributing to a legacy-focused, innovation-driven vehicle program.
Responsibilities
- Develop and execute OBD requirements test strategies to validate system behavior against defined criteria
- Create, maintain, and run test cases for diagnostic functions across relevant vehicle conditions
- Collaborate with engineering teams to troubleshoot issues and drive root-cause analysis
- Document test results, trace requirements to outcomes, and support verification reporting
- Coordinate with cross-functional stakeholders to ensure test readiness and coverage
Requirements
- Experience with OBD/diagnostics requirements testing in an automotive environment
- Strong understanding of diagnostic concepts, validation methods, and test documentation
- Proficiency with tools and processes used to execute and track software/controls testing
- Ability to analyze logs/data and communicate findings clearly
- Senior-level experience supporting verification activities and requirement traceability
