About the Role
Join AoPS Academy as a part-time Math Instructor and help advanced students build strong foundations through engaging, student-centered learning. If you enjoy collaborating with families and creating a classroom where curiosity thrives, we’d love to meet you.
Responsibilities
- Teach using company-created curriculum and materials tailored for advanced learners
- Lead small classes and support active, student-led learning during each session
- Manage classroom activities for groups of up to 16 students
- Grade assessments and provide thoughtful feedback on tests
- Build meaningful relationships with students and families to support long-term growth
- Promote critical thinking and a genuine love of math
Requirements
- Experience teaching math to students (preferred)
- Strong classroom management and communication skills
- Comfort working with advanced students and encouraging student-led learning
