About the Role
Avathon is building an Industrial AI autonomy platform that helps heavy industries move faster toward autonomous operations. We’re seeking a Senior AI Scientist to focus on Transportation & Logistics use cases, using our Computational Knowledge Graph foundation to connect operational data across siloed systems and enable real-time predictive intelligence.
Responsibilities
- Design and develop AI/ML models for logistics, transportation, and supply chain intelligence.
- Leverage time series, structured data, unstructured data, and machine vision to power AI-driven applications.
- Contribute to normal behavior modeling, digital twin approaches, and agentic decision-making.
- Build and improve NLP and computer vision capabilities for operational workflows.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to translate domain needs into scalable, production-ready solutions.
Requirements
- Advanced experience in applied AI/ML research and model development.
- Strong grounding in at least one of the following: time series modeling, NLP, computer vision, or knowledge graph approaches.
- Experience working with complex, multi-modal operational datasets.
- Ability to communicate results clearly and partner effectively across engineering and domain stakeholders.
