About the Role
We’re looking for an experienced Positive Behaviour Support Practitioner who can bring a calm, evidence-based approach to challenging moments. You’ll act as a supporter and strategist—helping participants, families, and support teams understand behavior, build meaningful plans, and reduce the need for restrictive practices.
Responsibilities
- Assess needs and develop, implement, and deliver evidence-based support plans
- Set meaningful goals using a positive behaviour support framework
- Build capability across participants’ support networks, including families, carers, and support workers
- Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to coordinate effective supports
- Lead efforts to reduce and eliminate restrictive practices
Requirements
- NDIS Behaviour Support Practitioner status at minimum CORE level with relevant experience
- Degree in an allied health discipline
