About the Role
As a Positive Behaviour Support Practitioner, you’ll help create practical, evidence-based support that improves quality of life for the people we support. You’ll act as a strategist and problem-solver—analyzing behaviour patterns, building clear plans, and partnering with others to support meaningful change.
Responsibilities
- Evaluate, develop, and deliver evidence-based behaviour support plans
- Create goals using a positive behaviour support framework
- Build capacity across participants’ support networks, including families, carers, friends, and support workers
- Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to coordinate effective supports
- Lead efforts to reduce and eliminate restrictive practices
Requirements
- Degree in allied health or a related field
- Experience reading, implementing, reviewing, or creating behaviour support plans
- NDIS (as indicated in the posting)
