About the Role
Babylist is entering an exciting growth phase—expanding into new verticals and building the leadership team to support the next chapter. As our Principal Executive Recruiter, you will lead the most high-impact searches across the organization, from Director-level roles to C-suite leadership.
You’ll partner directly with our executive team as a strategic thought partner. Instead of simply executing against a predefined job description, you’ll help clarify what the business truly needs, shape compelling role narratives for market launch, and attract leaders who can define our future.
Responsibilities
- Own end-to-end executive search processes for Director through C-suite roles across multiple departments
- Collaborate with executives to define talent strategy when scope, compensation benchmarks, or requirements are unclear
- Build and refine role narratives, including success profiles and market positioning
- Develop candidate pipelines and lead outreach for senior leadership hiring
- Drive evaluation, assessment, and closing for top leadership candidates
- Partner with stakeholders to ensure alignment on priorities, timelines, and hiring outcomes
Requirements
- Proven experience leading executive search for senior leadership roles (Director through C-suite)
- Strong ability to operate in ambiguous situations and translate unclear needs into a clear hiring plan
- Demonstrated stakeholder management and executive-level consulting skills
- Experience shaping role narratives and influencing hiring strategy
- Excellent communication and candidate relationship skills
