About the Role
Speak is reinventing language learning with an AI-powered, conversation-first tutor built for learners on the go. We’re seeking a Product Designer to help shape the consumer experience—turning complex learning flows into intuitive, engaging product moments that guide users from beginner to confident speaker.
Responsibilities
- Design consumer-facing experiences for a conversation-driven AI learning product
- Translate learning goals into clear user journeys, lesson flows, and feedback experiences
- Collaborate with product, engineering, data, and content teams to iterate based on user needs and outcomes
- Create user flows, wireframes, prototypes, and polished UI designs
- Partner on usability testing and incorporate findings into design improvements
Requirements
- Proven product design experience in consumer apps (mobile and/or web)
- Strong interaction design and UI craft with the ability to communicate design rationale
- Experience designing end-to-end experiences, from onboarding through ongoing learning or engagement
- Comfort working with cross-functional teams in a fast-moving product environment
- A portfolio demonstrating shipped work and measurable impact
