About the Role
Scout Motors is building the next chapter of an iconic American legacy—reimagined with electrification, digitization, and American innovation. We’re looking for a Production Assembly & Finish Manager to lead day-to-day operations that bring our vehicles from build to finish with quality, safety, and pride.
Responsibilities
- Oversee production flow across assembly and finish operations to meet output and quality targets
- Manage and coach production teams to maintain strong performance and continuous improvement
- Coordinate daily priorities, staffing, and resources to keep work moving efficiently
- Ensure adherence to safety procedures, work instructions, and quality standards
- Identify process gaps and drive corrective actions using data and root-cause problem solving
- Collaborate with engineering, supply chain, and maintenance teams to remove bottlenecks
- Support documentation, reporting, and performance tracking for production KPIs
Requirements
- Proven leadership experience in manufacturing production, assembly, and/or finishing environments
- Strong understanding of production planning, quality controls, and shop-floor execution
- Experience with continuous improvement (e.g., Lean or similar methodologies)
- Ability to read and interpret work instructions, specifications, and production metrics
- Commitment to safety and the ability to enforce standards consistently
- Strong communication skills and a hands-on leadership style
