About the Role
ELMHS is seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Psychiatric Aide 3 to support our mission of delivering mental health evaluation, treatment, habilitation, and consultation for adults. This role is part of the Nursing Department and helps create a safe, therapeutic environment for patients.
Responsibilities
- Maintain a safe and therapeutic setting to support patient well-being
- Ensure patient safety and respond appropriately to patient needs
- Assist patients with activities of daily living (ADLs)
- Escort patients to appointments, programs, and other required locations
- Provide patient-centered nursing support in an inpatient and residential care setting
Requirements
- Ability to support patient safety and follow facility procedures
- Strong attention to detail and a positive, professional attitude
- Comfort working in a mental health treatment environment
