About the Role
We’re seeking a Quality Control Engineer to oversee and verify the quality of interior finish work on commercial construction projects. In this onsite role, you’ll ensure craftsmanship, compliance, and workmanship align with project specifications, contract documents, industry standards, and applicable building codes.
Responsibilities
- Maintain and execute the project-specific QA/QC Plan, including scopes of work and work procedures
- Inspect interior finish work to confirm it meets approved specifications and quality requirements
- Serve as the primary liaison between project management, field teams, subcontractors, and clients regarding quality matters
- Coordinate with stakeholders to address quality issues, documentation needs, and corrective actions
- Track and document inspection results and compliance with relevant standards
Requirements
- Experience in QA/QC, quality inspections, or quality assurance within commercial construction
- Knowledge of interior finishes and related construction standards and best practices
- Familiarity with contract documents, building codes, and inspection documentation
- Strong communication skills and the ability to collaborate across teams and subcontractors
