About the Role
Catholic Charities of Baltimore is seeking a Registered Nurse (RN) PRN to support children and staff through comprehensive nursing care. This on-call role focuses on assessment, planning, medication safety, triage, crisis intervention, and coordinating care with families and multidisciplinary teams.
St. Vincent’s Villa provides residential treatment for children ages 5–13 whose behavioral and emotional needs have not improved with community-based interventions.
Responsibilities
- Provide care using the nursing process: assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation
- Administer medications safely and according to clinical and regulatory standards
- Perform triage and respond to urgent patient needs
- Support crisis intervention when behavioral health situations arise
- Maintain accurate, timely medical documentation
- Coordinate care with families and multidisciplinary team members
- Follow all clinical, safety, and compliance requirements
Requirements
- Active Registered Nurse (RN) license
- Experience working in clinical settings with strong assessment and documentation skills
- Ability to manage triage and respond effectively in high-need situations
- Commitment to medication safety and regulatory compliance
Pay & Schedule
- Pay: Starting at $40.00/hour
- Schedule: PRN / on-call
