About the Role
FWG Solutions is seeking a Safety & HAZMAT Coordinator to support the LCAC 100 program. In this role, you will help ensure safe site operations by identifying hazards, confirming that emergency procedures are established and followed, and overseeing HAZMAT handling and training verification.
Responsibilities
- Support site safety planning by identifying hazards and documenting findings as needed
- Ensure emergency procedures are in place and followed during operations
- Oversee all HAZMAT handling activities to promote safe, compliant work practices
- Verify and maintain records of required HAZMAT training for personnel
- Coordinate with site leadership and stakeholders to address safety concerns and corrective actions
Requirements
- Experience supporting safety programs and hazardous materials (HAZMAT) operations
- Knowledge of emergency procedures and safe handling practices
- Ability to verify training completion and maintain accurate documentation
- Strong attention to detail and a commitment to safety compliance
