About the Role
Seesaw is looking for a Senior Security Engineer to help protect our elementary learning platform and support a safe, trusted experience for educators, students, and families. You’ll work closely with Engineering, IT, and Legal, partnering across teams to reduce risk and strengthen security practices.
Responsibilities
- Design, implement, and improve security controls across systems and services
- Collaborate with Engineering to identify vulnerabilities and drive remediation
- Support security reviews and risk assessments in partnership with IT and Legal
- Promote secure engineering practices and help raise the security bar across the organization
Requirements
- Strong background in application, infrastructure, or cloud security
- Experience working with cross-functional teams to address security issues
- Practical knowledge of common security concepts (e.g., threat modeling, secure design, vulnerability management)
- Ability to communicate clearly with technical and non-technical stakeholders
