About the Role
Sony Interactive Entertainment is seeking a Threat Intelligence Investigator to support our security efforts through advanced threat analysis. You’ll help monitor, investigate, and contextualize emerging threats to protect PlayStation and related network services.
Responsibilities
- Investigate threat activity by analyzing signals, indicators, and relevant security telemetry
- Develop and refine threat intelligence findings for internal stakeholders
- Support incident-related investigation by correlating evidence and identifying likely attacker behaviors
- Maintain clear documentation of investigations, conclusions, and recommended next steps
- Collaborate with security and engineering teams to improve detection and response workflows
Requirements
- Experience conducting threat intelligence research and/or security investigations
- Familiarity with threat actor tactics, techniques, and common attack patterns
- Strong analytical and troubleshooting skills with attention to detail
- Ability to communicate investigation results clearly to both technical and non-technical audiences
- Availability for a hybrid schedule that includes 2–3 days onsite (San Diego or San Mateo area)
