About the Role
Roku is looking for a Senior Machine Learning Engineer to help build intelligent search experiences for our Entertainment Assistant. You’ll work on systems that improve how users discover content and how our platform connects consumers, publishers, and advertisers.
Responsibilities
- Design, build, and iterate machine learning models and search-related solutions
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to translate product goals into technical approaches
- Improve ranking, retrieval, and relevance through data-driven experimentation
- Partner with engineers and researchers to productionize and monitor ML systems
- Contribute to scalable architectures that support high-quality user experiences
Requirements
- Strong experience applying machine learning to search, ranking, or recommendation problems
- Proficiency with Python and common ML/data tooling
- Solid understanding of evaluation, experimentation, and model iteration
- Experience working with production systems and performance considerations
- Ability to collaborate effectively across teams in a fast-moving environment
