About the Role

Sur La Table is seeking a Seasonal Chef Instructor, Savory, to be our in-store expert for all things savory cooking. In this role, you’ll inspire customers through hands-on teaching and help create an exceptional in-store experience aligned with our #bestincenter service standard.

Responsibilities

• Lead in-store culinary demonstrations and provide expert guidance on savory cooking techniques
• Teach cooking fundamentals and help customers build confidence in their skills
• Share product knowledge and connect cookware and ingredients to real cooking outcomes
• Deliver an engaging, welcoming experience that reflects Sur La Table’s service expectations

Requirements

• Experience cooking and teaching or demonstrating cooking techniques (formal or informal)
• Strong knowledge of savory cuisines, cooking fundamentals, and basic culinary methods
• Excellent communication skills with a customer-focused approach
• Comfort working in a retail environment and presenting in front of guests
