About the Role
SMX is hiring a Senior Computer Systems Engineer/Architect to act as a technical authority for designing, integrating, and maintaining enterprise mission network architectures supporting Army Mission Networks (AMN). You will develop scalable, secure, and resilient solutions while aligning to DoD cybersecurity requirements, enterprise standards, and mission priorities.
Responsibilities
- Design enterprise system architectures for mission operations
- Create technical roadmaps and modernization strategies
- Lead architecture reviews and engineering working groups
- Assess emerging technologies and recommend integration approaches
- Ensure interoperability across multiple government organizations
- Produce engineering documentation and architecture artifacts to support lifecycle needs
Requirements
- Senior-level experience in computer systems engineering and/or systems architecture
- Strong understanding of secure, resilient enterprise network design
- Ability to evaluate technologies for operational integration and interoperability
- Active TS/SCI clearance with CI Poly (or ability to obtain/maintain)

- Full-time onsite role at Fort Bragg, NC
