About the Role
Brown & Brown is looking for a Senior Financial Operations Analytics & Automation Analyst to join our growing team in Maitland, Florida. In this leadership role within the Financial Operations Audit (FOA) team, you will plan, execute, and review audit fieldwork across financial, operational, and compliance areas while helping improve audit efficiency through analytics and automation.
Responsibilities
- Lead planning and execution of audit workstreams covering financial, operational, and compliance topics
- Perform financial and compliance reviews with a strong focus on accuracy and risk awareness
- Apply data analytics to uncover insights, support coverage decisions, and enhance audit effectiveness
- Develop and improve automation approaches that streamline audit processes and reporting
- Review audit work produced by teammates to ensure quality, completeness, and adherence to standards
- Mentor and recruit teammates, supporting their growth and consistent delivery of audit outcomes
Requirements
- Proven internal audit experience or equivalent experience in financial operations, compliance, or risk review
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret data and translate findings into actionable recommendations
- Experience using automation tools or scripting/data workflows to improve business processes
- Ability to independently manage audits from planning through review
- Strong communication and leadership skills, including mentoring and collaboration
