About the Role
Cox Automotive is seeking a Senior Human Resources Business Partner (HRBP) to support business leaders at a Cox location in Newburgh, NY. This role partners closely with managers to align HR strategy with day-to-day operations, drive employee engagement, and help the organization execute talent priorities.
Responsibilities
- Advise leaders on people strategy, organizational effectiveness, and workforce planning
- Partner on performance management, talent development, and employee relations matters
- Support hiring and onboarding efforts to ensure teams are staffed with the right capabilities
- Provide guidance on HR policies, compliance, and risk mitigation
- Collaborate with HR Centers of Excellence to implement programs and drive measurable outcomes
- Manage and resolve escalations in partnership with stakeholders
Requirements
- Prior HR business partner experience supporting business teams
- Strong knowledge of HR practices, employee relations, and performance management
- Ability to influence leaders and communicate effectively at all levels
- Comfort working with multiple stakeholders and managing competing priorities
- Willingness to travel approximately 15% of the time
