About the Role
Roku is looking for a Senior Machine Learning Engineer to help power our Voice Assistant experiences. You’ll join the Roku Voice team to build intelligent capabilities that make it easier for viewers to interact with Roku through natural language.
Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and deploy machine learning systems for voice-driven products
- Collaborate with engineers, product, and research partners to translate requirements into high-quality models
- Improve model performance through experimentation, evaluation, and iteration
- Work with data pipelines to ensure reliable training and inference at scale
- Contribute to production engineering practices such as monitoring, reliability, and performance tuning
Requirements
- Strong experience building and deploying machine learning models
- Proficiency with Python and common ML frameworks
- Experience with data preparation, feature engineering, and model evaluation
- Comfort working in a fast-paced, collaborative environment
- Knowledge of speech/voice-related ML is a plus
