About the Role
Woolpert is a global leader in architecture, engineering, and geospatial services, delivering innovative solutions that help move the world forward. We’re seeking an experienced Senior Mechanical Engineer to join our Mechanical Engineering team in South Florida, aligned with our office in Coral Gables, FL. This role supports full-time in-person or hybrid work arrangements.
Responsibilities
- Lead mechanical engineering efforts for projects from concept through design development
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to translate technical requirements into practical designs
- Develop and review engineering calculations, drawings, and specifications
- Support coordination with internal teams and external stakeholders to ensure project success
- Apply engineering best practices to improve quality, efficiency, and deliverables
Requirements
- Proven experience as a Mechanical Engineer with senior-level responsibilities
- Strong understanding of mechanical design principles and engineering documentation
- Ability to collaborate effectively across teams and communicate technical details clearly
- Experience working on engineering projects in a professional services environment
