About the Role
Cloudflare is building a better Internet, and we’re hiring a Senior Software Engineer to help strengthen our storage infrastructure. You’ll work on systems that support the reliability and performance of services used by customers worldwide.
Responsibilities
- Design, implement, and improve storage infrastructure components
- Collaborate with engineers across teams to deliver scalable, reliable solutions
- Identify performance bottlenecks and drive engineering improvements
- Write clean, maintainable code and contribute to system documentation
- Participate in troubleshooting and incident response to maintain service quality
Requirements
- Strong software engineering skills with experience building production systems
- Solid understanding of storage, data systems, or infrastructure at scale
- Proficiency with one or more programming languages commonly used in backend systems
- Experience with performance tuning, reliability practices, and debugging
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-moving, collaborative environment
