About the Role
Join an international, cross-functional team developing intravascular ultrasound systems. As a Senior/Staff Electrical Engineer, you’ll partner with electrical, transducer, system, and ultrasound engineers to design advanced medical device hardware.
Responsibilities
- Conceptualize, design, and develop analog and digital PCBs, assemblies, and FPGA-based solutions.
- Collaborate with cross-disciplinary teams (hardware, software, marketing, catheter design, and manufacturing) to shape requirements for next-generation intravascular ultrasound devices.
- Specify and qualify components, test equipment, and design tools using analyses of specifications, cost, availability, and reliability.
- Integrate verified components and design elements into production-ready hardware.
Requirements
- Experience designing medical device hardware or other regulated electronics environments.
- Strong background in analog/digital design and PCBAs, including FPGA development.
- Ability to work effectively with multi-disciplinary teams and translate requirements into technical designs.
- Experience with component selection, qualification, and reliability-focused engineering decisions.
