About the Role
We’re seeking a Senior Technical Product Marketing Manager to lead positioning and messaging for MongoDB Search and Vector Search. In this role, you’ll help drive adoption of these capabilities as foundational components of our platform’s retrieval layer—enabling next-generation grounded AI applications and agent experiences.
You’ll work with a globally distributed team and collaborate across Marketing, Builder Relations, Product Management, Engineering, Partners, and Sales to define goals, launch programs, and measure impact.
Responsibilities
- Own go-to-market messaging and positioning for MongoDB Search and Vector Search across key use cases
- Partner with product and engineering to translate technical capabilities into clear, compelling narratives for developers and buyers
- Develop and execute enablement and adoption programs to support sales, partners, and builder communities
- Measure performance of marketing initiatives and iterate based on adoption, engagement, and pipeline outcomes
- Coordinate cross-functional planning to align product launches with marketing and field execution
Requirements
- Strong technical product marketing experience with information retrieval concepts
- Hands-on understanding of lexical search, vector search, and hybrid approaches
- Knowledge of embeddings, re-ranking, and production tradeoffs (latency, relevance, cost, and quality)
- Familiarity with RAG pipelines and agentic retrieval loops is highly preferred
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to work effectively across engineering and go-to-market teams
