About the Role
CTS is seeking a SOC Supervisor to help lead day-to-day security operations and ensure our clients’ environments are monitored, investigated, and protected. You’ll guide a team of security professionals while maintaining high standards for response, escalation, and continuous improvement.
Responsibilities
- Supervise SOC workflows, including alert triage, incident validation, investigation, and escalation
- Coordinate response activities and support remediation efforts during security events
- Ensure documentation is accurate and up to date across runbooks, tickets, and incident reports
- Monitor performance and quality metrics to improve detection and response effectiveness
- Collaborate with internal teams and stakeholders to refine detection use cases and procedures
- Support continuous improvement through process reviews, lessons learned, and tuning recommendations
Requirements
- Experience leading or supervising SOC operations in a security operations environment
- Strong understanding of incident response processes and escalation procedures
- Hands-on familiarity with SIEM and security monitoring tools (and related alerting workflows)
- Solid knowledge of security concepts such as log analysis, threat detection, and common attack patterns
- Excellent communication skills for working with technical and non-technical stakeholders
