About the Role
Join Roku and help build the next generation of TV experiences. As a Software Engineer focused on embedded agentic AI, you’ll work on intelligent capabilities that run close to the hardware, enabling responsive, media-aware features across the Roku ecosystem.
Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and optimize embedded software components for AI-driven features
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate intelligent experiences into TV platforms
- Contribute to system architecture decisions that balance performance, reliability, and resource constraints
- Debug, test, and improve software quality through profiling and iterative enhancements
Requirements
- Strong software engineering fundamentals and experience building production systems
- Experience with embedded development concepts (performance, memory, concurrency)
- Working knowledge of AI/ML concepts and how to apply them in real-world systems
- Ability to collaborate effectively in a fast-paced engineering environment
