About the Role
RTX is seeking a Software Engineer focused on embedded communications to support mission-critical aerospace and defense systems. This onsite role requires U.S. citizenship and the ability to obtain and maintain a DoD Secret security clearance. If you already hold an active clearance, you must be able to maintain it after day one.
Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and integrate embedded software for communications-focused systems
- Collaborate with engineering teams to translate requirements into reliable software components
- Support testing, debugging, and verification activities to ensure system performance and stability
- Contribute to documentation and maintainability of embedded code and interfaces
Requirements
- U.S. citizenship required
- Active DoD Secret clearance required (must remain active after day one)
- Experience developing embedded software in communications or related domains
- Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to work effectively in a team environment
