About the Role

Redwood Materials is building a more resilient battery supply chain by recovering, reusing, and recycling critical materials to support the energy transition. We’re seeking a Staff Electrical Design Engineer to own end-to-end electrical design for industrial, office, and lab facilities across multiple locations—guiding electrical deliverables from early concept through construction.

Responsibilities

  • Lead complete electrical design for facilities, owning deliverables from concept to construction
  • Develop and coordinate electrical design packages for industrial, office, and laboratory environments
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams and external partners to ensure designs are buildable and meet requirements
  • Support engineering decisions that improve safety, reliability, and overall project outcomes
  • Ensure electrical work aligns with applicable standards, codes, and project specifications

Requirements

  • Experience delivering electrical design for commercial or industrial facilities, including lab environments
  • Strong EPC mindset with the ability to manage design through construction
  • Proficiency with electrical design practices, documentation, and engineering standards
  • Ability to work effectively across multiple locations and coordinate with stakeholders
