About the Role
Rivian and Volkswagen Group Technologies is a joint venture building technology for the next chapter of automotive. We’re seeking a Staff Embedded Software Engineer to help develop the foundational software stack that supports design verification for PCBs and ECUs.
Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and maintain embedded software used in verification workflows for electronic control units
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define requirements and deliver robust software components
- Improve reliability, performance, and maintainability of embedded systems
- Support debugging, validation, and continuous improvement of verification tooling
Requirements
- Strong embedded software engineering experience
- Proficiency with low-level programming and hardware/software integration concepts
- Experience building software that supports validation, testing, or design verification
- Ability to collaborate effectively across engineering disciplines
