About the Role
Redwood Materials is seeking a Staff Finance Associate to support our Energy Storage team in San Francisco. In this role, you’ll connect supply chain, manufacturing, and finance to serve as a key analytical and financial partner for product cost and sourcing decisions.
Responsibilities
- Own financial analysis that informs energy storage product cost strategy
- Partner with cross-functional teams to evaluate sourcing options and supply chain impacts
- Support budgeting, forecasting, and performance tracking for relevant programs
- Develop and maintain reporting and decision-support models for cost drivers
- Translate complex operational inputs into clear financial insights for stakeholders
Requirements
- Experience in finance, FP&A, or a related analytical role
- Strong financial modeling and analytical skills
- Comfort working with cross-functional partners across operations and supply chain
- Advanced Excel and/or financial planning tools; familiarity with data analysis is a plus
- Strong communication skills with the ability to present insights clearly
