About the Role

Southern Electric Corporation (SEC), a Quanta Services company, is seeking a Substation Project Manager to lead the planning, direction, and execution of substation projects. You’ll help ensure work is delivered safely, on schedule, and to the required quality standards while coordinating effectively with internal teams and stakeholders.

Responsibilities

  • Plan, direct, and oversee substation project activities from start to finish
  • Coordinate resources, crews, and equipment to support successful project delivery
  • Manage project schedules, milestones, and day-to-day execution to meet timelines
  • Maintain a strong safety culture and ensure compliance with applicable requirements
  • Collaborate with customers, internal teams, and subcontractors to drive alignment and outcomes
  • Track project performance and address issues early to protect scope, cost, and quality

Requirements

  • Relevant experience managing electrical utility or substation projects
  • Strong leadership and communication skills for coordinating multiple stakeholders
  • Proven ability to manage schedules, priorities, and project execution
  • Working knowledge of safety expectations and field operations
  • Experience with project tracking and reporting
