About the Role
PSI is a growing transportation engineering firm with 30+ years of experience delivering award-winning infrastructure projects across the DC region and beyond. We’re seeking a Transportation Engineer to support roadway and traffic-focused design work while partnering with engineers, clients, and stakeholders to develop practical, safety-first solutions.
Responsibilities
- Collaborate with engineers and clients to identify needs and develop technical designs and solutions
- Create transportation design plans, specifications, and estimate packages
- Conduct traffic engineering studies, analyses, and modeling to support project decisions
- Use traffic simulation software to evaluate the operational impacts of roadway improvements
- Coordinate with project stakeholders to support design development and documentation
Requirements
- Experience with transportation or traffic engineering studies and analysis
- Proficiency with traffic modeling and/or traffic simulation tools
- Ability to produce clear technical documentation (plans, specifications, and estimates)
- Strong communication skills and a collaborative mindset
