About the Role
Bastion is seeking a VP of Finance to help build scalable finance systems, processes, and infrastructure. This is a hands-on leadership position where you’ll own key financial outcomes end to end—from month-end close and reporting to regulatory filings and planning.
Responsibilities
- Lead month-end close, forecasting, budgeting, and financial reporting with a focus on accuracy and timeliness
- Own financial modeling that supports strategic decision-making and business planning
- Oversee preparation and support of regulatory filings and compliance-related financial requirements
- Build and improve finance processes, controls, and infrastructure to scale with the business
- Partner cross-functionally with leadership to translate performance into actionable plans
- Establish and maintain metrics, dashboards, and reporting workflows for ongoing visibility
Requirements
- Proven experience in finance leadership, including ownership of close, forecasting, and reporting
- Strong financial modeling skills and the ability to support executive decision-making
- Experience with regulatory reporting and/or compliance-focused financial processes
- Track record of building scalable finance operations, systems, and controls
- Strong communication skills and comfort partnering across teams
