About the Role
FWG Solutions is seeking a skilled Welder to support welding, brazing, and metal fabrication work on-base for the U.S. Navy’s Landing Craft, Air Cushion (LCAC) Amphibious Combat Vehicle (ACV) program. This position is part of the LCAC 100 Program and will be performed on-site in Panama City Beach, Florida.
Responsibilities
- Perform welding, brazing, and metal fabrication tasks in support of LCAC 100 program requirements
- Support on-base maintenance and fabrication activities related to amphibious combat vehicle systems
- Follow applicable safety procedures and workmanship standards to ensure quality results
- Work from instructions, drawings, and job specifications as required
Requirements
- Proven experience performing welding and metal fabrication
- Ability to work safely in an on-base industrial environment
- Familiarity with welding processes and brazing practices
- Capability to interpret job requirements and perform assigned fabrication work to specification
