About the Role

Join our team as a WIAM Monitoring Governance Specialist supporting cybersecurity monitoring and governance. This role is based at our Seneca One location in Buffalo, NY, with four days onsite and the flexibility to work from home one day per week. You will monitor and investigate security events and alerts, focusing on identifying activity that violates established policies.

Responsibilities

  • Monitor security alerts and events from enterprise tools to detect potential policy-violation activity.
  • Create, update, and maintain standard operating procedures and documentation for consistent monitoring and investigation.
  • Correlate findings across multiple security tools and data sources to identify non-compliant user or network behavior.
  • Support cybersecurity detection and response workflows with analysis and actionable insights.
  • Contribute to continuous improvement of monitoring capabilities, processes, and procedures.

Requirements

  • Experience working with cybersecurity monitoring, alert triage, or security event analysis.
  • Strong understanding of security governance concepts and policy-based detection.
  • Ability to correlate data from multiple security tools to reach clear conclusions.
  • Comfort documenting processes and following established procedures.
