About the Role
Anthropic is seeking a Workday Business Systems Analyst to join our People Systems team. In this role, you’ll drive the technical configuration, testing, and ongoing operational excellence of our Workday HRIS across two areas: PATT and HCM. Your most focused work will be on PATT, where you’ll enhance payroll, absence, and time tracking capabilities and help guide design decisions as they evolve.
Responsibilities
- Own Workday HRIS configuration for the PATT and HCM domains
- Refine existing payroll, absence, and time tracking setup to improve accuracy and usability
- Develop and execute testing plans to validate system changes
- Support operational excellence by monitoring releases and resolving issues
- Shape PATT design decisions and document configuration outcomes
- On the HCM side, manage core HCM data structures, business process frameworks, and the security model
Requirements
- Experience as a business systems analyst or Workday consultant focused on HRIS configuration
- Strong understanding of Workday modules, especially payroll, absence, and time tracking (PATT)
- Proficiency with testing methodologies for HRIS changes (e.g., UAT and release validation)
- Ability to translate business requirements into secure, well-structured Workday configurations
- Comfort working across multiple domains and collaborating with HR and technical stakeholders
